First off...

2x4 100% Nylon String, Handmade by Me is PLASMA!

This string, after hours of tweaking and tinkering, is a combination of the best aspects of different types of string that i have used without any of the downsides.

For one, Plasma is very unresponsive, it is relatively stiff when you first use it, but after about 5 minutes of break in, the string loosens up and stays how it is for weeks (not w eeks of having it in your yoyo, but weeks of actual use) of play. I am still using the first one that i made this way, and i ts STILL proudly on my markmont (nearly a year later).

I have used other nylon string, but that was very rough even after break in. Plasma is not cotton soft, but
is not painful to play with, in fact it is quite smooth/slick feeling, especially after break in, even moreso compared to the original Demon Wire. it plays                         very fast and holds slack very well. whips and slacks move quickly through the air and you can even hear them making a "woosh" noise as the strings cuts through the air.

Plasma has a slight "bounce" to it, but not quite what say, Highlights have. it does have a little give to it though, so throws still feel natural, without that "thud" at the end of the throw. I would not suggest this string for looping tricks though.

Plasma is a good, medium thickness (a little on the thin side compared to type 8 polyester). it is a tiny bit thicker than alchemy string, a tiny bit thinner (barely) than YYN highlights, and a bit thicker than Angel Hair string, but is wound much tighter and smoother feeling than angel hair so you dont get that rough feeling most nylon has.

comparisons:

left is Demon Wire, right is Alchemy:

Demon Wire is very good for humid climates because the string does not fray and remains slick despite hours of use.

Here we have a YYN Highlight after 25 minutes of play next to the first piece of Demon Wire I made, which currently has over 15 hours of play on it in this picture (including me spilling soda on it and wiping it off... it does not absorb liquids very well.. so if they invent an underwater YoYo this string is for you!)

As you can see, the polyester has frayed and becomes grippier on the skin, especially in a humid environment, while Demon Wire remains slick and is not affected by moisture nearly as much as polyester or cotton is.

My second type of string is:
As you can see in the picture to the left, Wumbo (the pink string) is 50% thicker than Plasma (the red string).

"Wumbo" was developed by me as a side project in search for the best slack string possible. The results were so amazing that I decided to put Wumbo into full production!

Wumbo is very thick, but still unresponsive. It binds just like regular string, and plays surprisingly smooth (this took lots of trial and error!) considering the thickness of the string.
It is not as slippery feeling as Plasma, but is made with the same material so play is nearly as fast.

The Coupe de Gras of Mumbo is that it holds slack like no other string I have EVER played.
