This website is an account of our cycle ride
The idea of doing a charity cycle ride came about when Eddie's dad Paul Collins, sadly lost his life to Leukaemia in October 2008. Since then Eddie decided to organise an event to raise money towards Leukaemia Research. His hope is that the money will go towards the research and awareness of the blood cancer, in order to help others who may find themselves in the same situation.
Lands End to John O'Groats was decided, and with the support of his friend Charlie and colleague Jason the ball was set rolling. Eddie and Charlie are both non-cyclists which makes the journey even more of an achievement for them. Jason who is a experienced cyclist will be leeding the way. The route has been self-organised and self-funded. They will be partially supported along the way by Stacy, Eddie's Girlfriend in the van. Their route will take them along the east of the country and will take 10 days covering 900 miles.
All three has been training hard and eagerly await the big day, when they will travel down to Cornwall to start their journey. You can follow their progress on "our route" page.
