Nautical Intent
A 1998 Maryland bred bay mare. She is my first homebred and was my first leap into the racing world. Nautical (Littlebitty) is a smaller TB by Amy's Intention a $100 stallion and out of Bella Marine a mare I free leased for a breeding season. I guess I got pretty lucky and this mare had a race record of 14 starts with 1-0-1 while teaching me a little about training. Even though she wasn't a superstar I kept Littlebitty as a broodmare because she has heart and a wonderful disposition. Plagued with fertility problems, out of 4 pregnancies she had 2 miscarriges, 1 still born, and only 1 live foal. In 2006 she gave me a bay filly by Hay Halo who I named Pacific Shadow. Pacific Shadow ran 3 times unsuccessfully for a owner in PA and has since be purchased by a friend of mine as a sporthorse broodmare prospect. We are sure she will throw very colorful athletic foals.
Rant N' Roar
A 2003 Canadian bred black gelding. He is by Tethera and out of Sifting Snow. Elton is another horse that I got for free from my boss, because he had cracked his cannon bone late in his 2yr old year. He was unraced and had never even breezed. I took the horse and fixed his shin, he ended up being super quick. After 8 months of rehab and legging up I ran him on the grass and he won first time out by a 1/2 length. I was suprised and tickled to death. He had a couple promising races in his short career but started bleeding through his medication and not enjoying his job so I retired him. He is now in training as a eventer and doing really well.

I have been lucky enough in the business to have 100% winners from runners. And my horses are far from champions
Owner
Taoiseach
A 1999 canadian bred black gelding. He is by War Deputy and out of Ruthie B Lynd. Taoiseach was a real rouge which made it possible to aquire him for free from my boss at the time. This horse refused to leave the barn and train, so I used a very unusual training program, which he loved. Taoiseach would run his heart out for me everytime I led him over, and almost always got a check. This horse is now a whipper in for a hunt club and last I heard was doing well.
