If you owned a corperation and found that your branch managers were
1) spending more money then they had
2) Not writing the proposals that you hired them to write but having someone else write them
3) Then signing those proposals without reading them
4) Getting angry with you when you called them on it.
You would fire them.
That is what we have with our elected officials from the local level to the federal.

If you are a tax payer, you are not only working to pay your own bills, house, car, phones, food, but you are paying for those who are on the government dole.

A caller to my show offered a great idea:
Can we get pictures of these people to put on our refrigerators, like when we donate to the starving children of the world? 

Such a warm, feel good idea. I'm all for it.
