Sometimes you wonder why you just
don't seem to catch up with your peers! May be there is something you are
missing out on. Probably their Chinese is just so high up there yet you can
hardly make out the meaning of a single letter in the Chinese alphabet. You may
require some competition and an opportunity to build you confidence in learning
and using Chinese. Because we understand how we feel we have just the right
package for you. This comes in the form of our internet Chinese language
discussion groups. To find out more about how these groups can boost your
Chinese log onto www.learnchinesereviews.com
Relating what you have already learnt to new
situations by use of the scaffolding technique.
Creating a vocabulary book where you record all the
new words you learn and their meanings and go over them regularly while
altering or adding new usage of words or names.
Mastering the Chinese alphabet and numbers in both
written and spoken forms as a starting point.
Engaging in conversations with Chinese speakers in
addition to discussions or other activities that will one's language
richer.
Visiting learning Chinese websites to get additional
learning information since they offer much Chinese language learning resources.
The fact that a good number of speakers in our group
appear to be doing better at Chinese than you need not dishearten you. After
all, they all started somewhere and slowly came up the ladder. You can take
heart that there are some who have just began and are therefore operating at a
similar level as you are. You can learn a lot and improve your Chinese by
participating in these discussions. However, you should avoid a back seat and
instead undertake to contribute by asking questions, volunteering answers and
making comments. If you feel like trying out this approach, sign up for a free
newsletter.
