Meeting my sending church at the Detroit airport, unpacking, financial reorganization, needed purchases of vehicle, equipment, clothes, audio-visual presentation construction, letterhead and prayer cards, cell phone, directory and scheduling, visiting area churches like my own sending church, the South Side Baptist Tabernacle of Ypsilanti, and the Faith Baptist Church in Brown City, MI who support me and other area prospect church....but enjoying a Wendy's thick chocolate frosty first. Was invited by the Filipino Independent Baptist Church in Norfolk, VA, but it was too soon after my arrival.
Would like to visit church in OH, IN, MI and introduce myself at fellowship meetings, testing new but used vehicle. Right now, I'm wide open in my scheduling.
Must attend the BBFI Missionary Retreat in AK for updating, seminars, workshops and fellowship, and will probably fly there, but will be free before or after the retreat. If you as a supporter would like to to help us with the fare and costs of this retreat, we'd appreciate it.
Will be at the First Baptist Church of Milford, DE (a supporter) for their Missions Conferences at the end of this month and into October. So anything between Michigan and Delaware for the first few weeks in September as I travel to DE I'm interested in.
It' all depends on where I go. Will I be in Indiana or Delaware? If Delaware, I have a few supporting churches who invited me like the Newark Baptist Church of Elkton, MD, the New Life Baptist Church of White Marsh, MD, including the Bible Baptist Church in Appomattox who I promised I would definitely visit since I was unable to last furlough.
Will attend a Missions Conference at Fellowship Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC, and will try to schedule other supporting churches in the SC, NC, VA area, like the Bible Baptist Church of Fort Mill, SC, my good friends..

We at Woodfin Baptist Church had the distinct pleasure to hear a most impressive presentation of the Philippines from Mike and Lenore Mislan. These precious people did a beautiful job as they sang of hope, love and joy both in the English and the native Language of the Philippine tongue and shared their testimony of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord. Their children complimented their ministry and were well behaved and attentive. It is our pleasure to share their burden for the lost in the Philippines and welcome them to our Mission family..
It was a real joy to us at the Filipino Independent Baptist Church to have you as our special guests during our 19th anniversary celebration on February 26th, 2006. Your presence was truly a blessing and encouragement to the church and to me as well even in my absence. It was comforting to me to hear good feedback from the church members resulting from Gods message through you. I would like to take this opportunity to express my personal appreciation and thanks for your kind thoughts and prayers.
