BLACKHAWK TUG OF WAR
The Blackhawk Tug of War Federation promotes the sport of tug of war in southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinios.
Our remaining 2009 schedule includes:
September 6th, Brooklyn, Wisconsin
September 13th, Princeton, IL
All teams are welcome in Blackhawk, there's no membership fee. Most pulls include heavyweight, which is an eight man team of unlimited weight , and lightweight which is six man or eight woman teams, with pullers totalling under 1080 pounds.
Steel heel plates are allowed as are plain work boots. No cleats or spikes for safety reasons.
